A Lifetime Collection

Verne Howell (1942-2013) had a lifetime love affair with the automobile. His personal interests ranged from classic Packards of the 1930's to high-performance muscle cars of the 60's & 70's.
He was a noted hands-on restorer, with many award-winning cars shown throughout the country, including at the Pebble Beach Concours.
His company, M&S Hydraulics was nationally known for restoring early Houdaille and Lockheed shock absorbers that helped keep many classics on the road.
His other interests were reflected in his personal collection, including vintage neon and porcelain signs, early radios and TV's, jukeboxes, petroleum cans, gas station memorabilia, old advertising and more. All will be found at this 2-day sale.
Charvet Classic Cars has been retained by the Howell family to oversee the sale. The Charvets are well-known for their previous automotive estate sale events that have disbursed major collections to new, appreciative homes. The Howell collection offers a diverse array of vintage memorabilia - both automotive and otherwise - encompassing the eras of 1900 through approximately 1980, with a focus on the 1930's-50's.
Please note, THIS IS NOT AN AUCTION. It is a true "Garage Sale" with all items tagged with prices and available for immediate sale on October 26 & 27. The sale is on-site only and not online.
